The death of William James Nowlan, of Warrick Settlement, NB, occurred on Monday, February 24, 2025, at his late residence at the age of 81. Born in Warwick Settlement, NB, he was the son of the late Harold and Mary (Mullin) Nowlan. 

William is survived by son: Jason Nowlan of Boston, MA; sisters: Mary McInnes (late Irvine) of McKinleyville, NB; brother: Donald Nowlan of Losier Hall; sister-in-law: Elizabeth Nowlan (late Tom); special nephews: Steven, Kevin, Ralph, Kenny, Corey (Roxanne); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by twin daughters: Caroline and Theresa; brothers, Fred, Tom, Robert, Daryl, Bev, Eugene, Henry, Sterling; sisters; Linda Nowlan, Addie Manderville and Doreen McKinley, Ella Saltenberger; infant sister: Grace.

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 12:30-2pm. Funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Tom Ettinger officiating. Interment will take place at the Boom Road Presbyterian Cemetery later in the spring.
