The death of Daniel “Danny” Joseph Vienneau, husband of Ursula (Somerville) Vienneau, of Esgenoôpetitj, NB, occurred at his late residence on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the age of 61. Born in Portage River, NB, he was the son of the late Jeremie and Rita (Losier) Vienneau. Danny is a retired Canadian Armed Forces veteran where he worked as a medic. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing guitar, singing, travelling and watching wrestling.

Besides his wife, Danny is survived by his children: Gabrielle Vienneau-Bourque of Fredericton, NB; Jasmine Ward, Faron Somerville, Garrett Somerville (Julie Francis), Connor Ward all of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; sisters: Christie Anne Vienneau and her son: Josef of Neguac, NB; Linda Brine (Pierre) of Moncton, NB; brothers: Donald Legere (Deborah) of Fredericton, NB; Eugene Legere (Denise) of St. Isidore, NB; Fernand Legere of Moncton, NB; grandchildren: Trinity Eva Sylliboy, Julianna Somerville, Lincoln Somerville, Vaida Somerville, Kaius Ward as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Danny is predeceased by several siblings.

The family will receive visitors at Danny’s home, 58 Algonquin Road, Esgenoôpetitj, NB on Thursday, April 3, 2025, after 7 PM and again on Friday, April 4, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Esgenoôpetitj, NB on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11 AM.
