It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Whalen Sr., age 87, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Terry was born on March 29, 1938, in Newcastle, NB. 

Terry was deeply devoted to his loving wife, Hazel (Taylor), with whom he shared 62 amazing years of marriage. 

Terry is survived by his wife, Hazel; his children, Terry Jr, (Donna) of Miramichi and Derrick (Danette) of Hammonds Plains, NS., along with grandchildren, Terry III, Krista, Ben and Chris.  

He was predeceased by his father, James Whalen, a World War I veteran and sawyer/ lumber man and by his mother, Mary (O’Brien) a member of the CWL.  

He was also predeceased by sister Agnus Rafferty (Dick) of Moncton, NB, John Whalen (Bernice) of Fredericton, NB, Jim Whalen (Deedee) of Truro, NS and Joe Whalen of Newcastle, NB.
