The death of Cyril Joseph Duffy, of Blackville, NB, occurred on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 80. Born in Grey Rapids, NB, he was the son of the late Sarah Duffy. Before retirement he was employed at the Blackville Sawmill.

Cyril is survived by daughters: Melissa Duffy of Prince Edward Island, Yvette Duffy of Toronto, ON, Tara Manderville (Adam) of Miramichi, NB; mother of his children: Linda (Gillispie) Duffy; grandchildren: Sarah, William, Gracie, James, Madison, Nevaeh, Harlee; special niece: Kalli Donahue.

Besides his mother: Cyril is predeceased by son: Trevor Duffy; brother: Clinton Duffy.
