District 16 Sports Day Something to See

As I walked amongst the masses at JMH Track during the District 16 sports day and track meet today I was reminded of "last week" sports days of my youth. I remember they were days at school that so mimicked leisure that you felt you were doing something wrong by enjoying yourself so much. It was obvious the teachers were having fun as well, but as always they kept a firm grasp on the hundreds of kids in attendance, no small feat in itself! The smiling faces of children that in just three short days will be embarking on two solid months of summer glory, full of hot summer evenings and various activities of the season. It just felt a little magical for this attendee is all, and I'm sure I wasn't alone!

Congrats to all of the kids whom pushed themselves today to achieve great feats of athletic prowess, and to all of the teachers and volunteers who made it all possible, awesome! Here are a few pictures I took of the festivities, enjoy!
