Wilbert Joseph Savoy, of Williamstown, husband of the late Christina (Connors) Savoy, passed away peacefully at Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Monday, May 27, 2024, at the age of 82.
Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah (Vienneau) Savoy, and worked as a truck driver prior to his retirement.
He will be greatly missed by his four children Darlene Barker (Dennis Ciaccia) of Burlington, ON, Tammy Savoie of Miramichi and Sarah's father Jim Leach, Marty Savoy (Julia) of Burlington, ON, and Rodney Savoy (Maggie) of Hamilton, ON; his partner Phyllis Mossman of Millerton; two sisters Marie Plourde (Late Anthony) of Burlington, ON, and Lorraine Young (Late Michael) of Miramichi; eight grandchildren Sarah, Karissa, Mason, Connor, Curran, Taylor, Parker, and Dillon; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
