It is with great sadness the family of Trudy Marguerite Mary Henderson of Cedar Pines Care Home, Beaverbrook, NB (formally Patterson’s Care Home), announces her passing  on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 81. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Waldo and Mayme (Patterson) Henderson. 

Cedar Pines Care Home became Trudy’s new beloved home, where she spent many happy years and made a close circle of friends. Her joy was playing bingo, listening to music and enjoying fresh ice cold Iced Capps from Tim’s. 

Trudy is survived by brothers, Wally (Theresa) of Douglastown, NB, Johnny (Sandra) of Sunny Corner, NB; brother-in-law: Johnny Shaddick of Boom Road, NB; sister-in-law: Betty Henderson of Chatham Head, NB; as well as several special nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by infant sister, Donna; brother: Randy; sister: Linda Shaddick: nephew: Jason Henderson.

As per the family's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Graveside prayers will be held at Miramichi Cemetery on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 1 o’clock with Rev. Alice Szemok officiating, everyone is welcome to attend.

The family would gratefully like to acknowledge the wonderful care she received from Dr. Gerard Losier and Dr. Caissie who provided such great care and interest in her medical needs. They would also like to thank Dr. Luc Arsenault for his many years of care.

Special heartfelt thanks to nursing staff on 1 East and ICU for their kind compassionate care, not only to Trudy but her beloved family as well. It will never be forgotten and always appreciated. You truly are a special group of people.
