The death of Terrance Lawrence Rail of Esgenoôpetitj, NB, occurred on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Moncton Hospital at the age of 74. Born in Montreal, PQ, he was the son of the late Thomas Jepita Jewitt Jones and Sarah (Rail) Jones. Terrance enjoyed nature in general, being in the woods, near the water, and fishing.

Terrance is survived by his daughter: Raven Dedam (Macis Landry) of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; siblings: Juanita Rail of Victoria, BC; Dave Rail and Steven Rail both of Oliver, BC; five grandchildren: Seth, Cyrus, Lucas, Faith and Clifford; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
