The death of Susan Gifford, of Losier Hall, and formally of Chaplin Island Road, NB, occurred on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 57. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Gifford.

Susan is survived by daughter: Savannah Baisley of Miramichi, NB; sisters: Nancy Gifford, Marilyn Gifford both of Miramichi, NB; daughter in law: Chelsea Lawlor of Miramichi, NB; grandchildren: Beau and Sage Baisley.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by son: Christopher Baisley; infant son: Jake; infant brother: Jamie; beloved fur baby: Snickers.

Susan had a big heart and an even bigger sense of humour. She welcomed everyone with open arms and a forgiving nature. She could always be found humming or singing a tune, dancing, working on a craft, or watching her favourite show, Judge Judy. Her playful, goofy spirit made her easy to love and will be greatly missed.

Her family and friends will especially miss the good morning and goodnight messages she faithfully sent on Facebook every day, always with love, no matter what kind of day she was having. Her thoughtfulness and warmth touched everyone who knew her, and she brightened the lives of all who crossed her path

Following her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial graveside service will take place at Maple Glen Cemetery on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1 o’clock with Pastor Gary Churchill officiating.
