Shaun Alexander Wilson, originally from Sunny Corner, NB, passed away on March 14, 2026, in Edmonton, Alberta. Born September 4, 1984, he was the son of Gordie (Sharon) Wilson of Sunny Corner, NB and the late Ann (Dunlop) Wilson, originally of Baddeck, NS.
Shaun graduated from North and South Esk Regional High School in Sunny Corner. He later honed his cooking skills at the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in Vancouver, BC. He had the opportunity to work in many areas of Canada, including restaurants in BC and in remote work camps in the North.
He is predeceased by his mother Ann, his grandparents Mary and Buddy Dunlop and Velma Wilson, uncle David Dunlop and his aunt Lynn Wilson.
In addition to his father, Shaun is survived by his brother, Charles (Karen) of Sunny Corner, NB; his grandfather: Charlie Wilson of Miramichi, NB; uncles: Gerald (Lynn) Dunlop and Shawn (Belinda) Dunlop; aunts: Patsy (Elaine) Dunlop, Beverly Dunlop, Nancy (Tony) Cetinski and Anne (Michael) Wilson as well as several cousins.
The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 3-7 PM. The funeral service will be held from St. Stephen’s United Church, Red Bank with Rev. Geza Szemok officiating on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11 AM. A private burial will take place at a later date.
