The death of Severious William Duffy Jr., husband of Mildred (Doyle) Duffy, of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 80. Born in White Rapids, NB, he was the son of the late Severious Sr. and Violet (Williams) Duffy. Before retirement Severious worked at the UPM Mill. He loved to be outdoors especially going hunting and fishing. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by son: Billy Duffy (Morgan) of Nova Scotia; daughters: Jeannie Curtis (Jeremy) Nelson-Miramichi, NB, Janice Jardine (Timmy) of Nelson-Miramichi, NB, Dawn Clark of South Nelson; daughter-in-law: Cindy Savoie; and his most prized possession, his grandchildren who he loved with all his heart and was so proud of each and everyone of them: Billie-Jo Duffy, Josh Jardine (Kailie), Jesse Curtis, Ashlee Jardine, Jamie-Lynn Curtis, Alayna; brothers: Tommy Duffy (Mary) of Miramichi, NB, Randy Duffy (Judy) of Fredericton, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews.
