It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edward Howe Sr. (Bob) husband of the late Bessie (MacAulay) Howe of Sunny Corner, NB on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the age of 86. Born in Boom Road, NB, he was the son of the late Irvine and Jean (McLean) Howe. Bob worked in the woodlands department at Repap, he retired in 1996 as a scaling supervisor. In addition to working full time at the mill, he operated a family farm in Sunny Corner where he raised beef cattle for many years.

Left to mourn are his children: Jeanne McCrossin (John) of Edmonton, AB; Robert Howe Jr. of Sunny Corner, NB; Lori Gamblin of Carlingford, NB; Sharon Howe (Dwayne Matchett) of Sunny Corner, NB; siblings: Helen Grant (Peter) of Truro, NS; Pat Sallaj (Abe) of Moncton, NB; Gary Howe (Marie) of Espanola, ON; grandchildren: Shannon Fontaine (Tom), Ryan Gamblin (Megan), Nickolas McCrossin (Kristina); Patrick McCrossin (Danielle); step grandson: Bradley Matchett; great grandchildren: Siena and Liam Fontaine as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
