It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of M. Robert Breau, who happened at the Neguac Rendez-vous Complex, surrounded by the love of his family, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the age of 92 years. He was the husband of the late Thérèse Drisdelle (June 8, 2012) and lived in Neguac. Born January 5, 1933 in Saint-Jean N. -B. He was the adopted son of the late Gilbert Breau and the late Hazel Annie Ward.
He leaves behind two daughters: Diane (Patrick) of Derby Junction and Claudette (Raymond) of Robichaud Settlement; two sons: Jean-Yves (Joanne) of Lower Newcastle and Michel (Stephanie) of Neguac; four grandchildren: Tracy (Kevin), Julie (Pierre-Luc), Nicholas (Coralie) and Dayle (Ryan); four great-grandchildren: Alexa, Addison, Avery and Joseph; Carol Ann (Robert) whom he considered his daughter, along with several nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and cousins.
A son-in-law, Aldo (2004), preceded him in the grave.
Robert was known for his kindness and spent a good part of his life serving the Neguac area with his taxi service and general store.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 11:30, on Monday, June 16, at the Maison Robichaud & Fils, 50, Rue Otho, in Neguac. A celebration of life will take place at the Robichaud & Fils House on the same day, Monday June 16th, at 2pm.
