Reginald Leon Gilliss of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on December 25, 2025, at the age of 65.

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on August 14, 1960, he was the son of the late Erwin and Linda (McLenaghan) Gilliss.  Reginald was a labourer, working at different jobs like drilling, woodsman and at asawmill.

Reginald is survived by his common-law, Mary Lou Comeau; one son, Jason Gilliss; two step-sons: Ricky Chapman (Erica), and Rodney Chapman; three grandchildren: Riley, Reese, and Wyatt; four sisters: Judy MacDonald (Donnie), Debbie Gilliss, Kathy MacDonald (Avard), and Winnie Gilliss; two brothers: David Gilliss, and Randy Gilliss; as well as special nephew, Mike Gilliss; and many other nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers: Keith, Steven, Kenny, and Dougie.
