Paul F. Buckley, husband of Penne Buckley, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age 83. Born in Newcastle, NB. Paul was the last surviving member of the late Lee and Inez (Carrigan) Buckley. 

Paul was a local businessman owning and operating several businesses, including the Carpet Ranch, Quick Mart (Chatham), Star Palace Arcade and Star Palace Movie Club (Douglastown) and Town Amusement Ltd. 

His love of Hockey was known by anyone who knew him. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan and looked forward to watching their games.

He was Happy that his younger boys played hockey and spent many hours at the rinks in and out of NB watching them play.

Besides his wife, Paul is survived by his children, Trevor (Riann), Christopher, Paula Veno (Darrell), and Joyce Buckley (Alfie); grandchildren: Ty Buckley and Nathan Connors; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his youngest son, Sean; brothers: David, James, Fredrick, Robert, John (Jack), Alex and Corey; sisters: Ann Marie King, Mary McCairns, and Barbara Buckley Walsh.
