It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear Pattricia "Patty" Lynn Flieger of Miramichi, New Brunswick at Mount St. Joseph on August 27, 2025. at the age of 61. She was surrounded by her family.

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on December 18, 1963, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha (Roach) Flieger. 

Patty was involved with Special Olympics and attended the Vocational Program at M. O. R. E. Services for many years. Her greatest joys were bingo, country music and her family. She attended St. Michael’s Basilica.

Patty is survived by one brother, Ian Flieger (Stella) of Miramichi, New Brunswick; two sisters: Jane Norris (Garth) of Creston, British Columbia and Beth Brennan (late Fred) of Fredericton, New Brunswick; as well as nieces and nephews: Robbie Clarke (Debbie), Scott Brennan (Maggie), Jillian Cann (John), Barry Brennan, Meghan Colepaugh (Justin) and Andrew Flieger (Erika); several great nieces and nephews: Samantha, Jake, Logan, Myles, Ella, Ivy and Enora.  She was predeceased by her parents, brothers: Ted and Ronald and sister-in-law, Sheila.

Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Basilica, 10 Howard St., Miramichi on Monday, September 1st, 2025, at 11:00 AM with The Reverend Father David Rioux as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Residence La Belle Vie in Baie-Sainte-Anne and Mount St. Joseph 3rd and 4th floor for taking such good care of Patty.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Special Olympics New Brunswick, Mount St. Joseph or M.O.R.E. Services would be appreciated by the family.
