The death of Patsy Belinda (Somers) Deep, occurred on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 81. Born in Sillikers, NB, she was the daughter of the late Elliott and Inez (Murphy) Somers. Patsy worked for many years in Administration with Syncrude Canada prior to her retirement. She enjoyed a happy life, travelling, dancing, being around people as well as participating in many outdoor activities including snowmobiling, hunting and trapping.

Patsy is survived by her son: Darren Waye (Sarah) of Lyttleton, NB; sister: Leanne Waye-Wilson of Miramichi, NB; brother: Omar Somers (Margy) of Oshawa, ON; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by brother: Leo Somers.
