Mary L. Thurrott of Points West Living, Cold Lake, AB passed away on the 17th March 2026 at the age of 88 years. Her husband, Calvin C. Thurrott was predeceased in 2011.

Born in Saint John, NB on March 16th, 1938; she was the daughter of the late Flora (McMurray) and George G. Sparks. She is survived by her sons: Christopher (Hilary) Thurrott of Victoria, BC; Paul Thurrott (Maureen) Thurrott of Cold Lake, AB; Jonathon Thurrott of Halifax, NS; and her daughter Elizabeth (Gary) Carroll of Cold Lake, AB.

Besides leaving behind her children, there are several grand children and great grand children.

There will be no public visitation as requested. Mary will be buried in the St. Mary’s Church cemetery with her late husband at Newcastle, NB.
