The death of Lillian Edith Schaar of Mount St. Joseph Nursing and formerly of Wayerton, NB occurred at her residence on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the age of 100. Born in Curventon, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Jennie Mullin. Lillian was a member of St. James and St. John United Church, Newcastle and was a retired accountant. She lived and worked in the USA for many years.

Lillian is survived by her nephews: Laurie McNeill (Joy) and Dale McNeill (Gwen); great nieces and nephews: Kerry (Jacques), April (Tim), David (Terri) and Michael; great great nieces and nephews: Logan, Cole, Nolan, Hannah, Jaxon and Alexa.

Besides her parents, Lillian is predeceased by her only sibling: Elsie McNeill (Frank).

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10-10:45 AM followed by the funeral service at 11 AM with Rev. Alice Szemok officiating. Burial will take place in the Wesley United Church Cemetery at a later date.
