Kirk Eric David Williston of Miramichi, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Hospital on March 17, 2026, at the age of 61, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on September 6, 1964, he was the eldest son of David and Catherine (Murdock) Williston. He attended both St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church and St. Mary’s Anglican Church.

Kirk attended St. Mary’s University in Halifax, NS, and later continued his studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON. He lived in Ontario for many years before returning home to New Brunswick. Throughout his career, Kirk worked with several organizations, including Dearborn Chemicals, CIBC, Mercedes-Benz, and Bell Aliant. He was an avid reader and a devoted trivia enthusiast, with a lifelong love of travel that took him to many memorable places.

Kirk had a generous heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. His quiet acts of kindness touched countless lives.
