It is with great sorrow that we, the family, announce the passing of John Louis Flanagan on July 9, 2024, after a short and valiant battle with cancer.

John (Jack) was born in Chatham, NB on September 27, 1949.  He was the son of John and Edna (Power) Flanagan.

Jack is survived by his loving family, two sisters: Maureen Donaher Burns (Bill) of Oakville, ON, and Joyce Playfair of Bathurst, NB; three brothers: Ben Flanagan of Moncton, NB, Terry Flanagan, Percy (Heather) Flanagan of Miramichi; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Flanagan of Miramichi, NB.  Jack was predeceased by his parents; brothers: Ronald (Elizabeth), Blaine, Mary Malley (Terry); and grand-nephew, Evan McFarlane (Heather and Percy).

Jack will be sadly missed by his loving nieces and nephews as well as grand-nieces and grand-nephews.  Uncle Jack always showed a keen interest in their lives.
