It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John William Arbeau of Maquapit Lake, NB, on Friday, December 5, 2025.

 

John was 75 years old, born in Upper Blackville, NB, and was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Peterson) Arbeau.

 

John will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Linda Melanson; his son, Westley (Susan); grandchildren, Tara Arbeau (Kenton) and Kailie Khoury (Aidan); great-grandchildren, Odyn and Ivy; brother, Neil Arbeau (Judy); sisters, Carol Carson (Dave), Della Doucette (Blair), and Faye Earle (Scott). He will also be fondly remembered by his special niece, Sherry Robinson (Rocky), and by several other nieces and nephews.

John was predeceased by his parents, his stepdaughter, Stacie Boone, his brothers, Luke and Floyd, and his sister, Marjorie.

 

As per John’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
