There will be a celebration of Joann's Life at St Marys Roman Catholic Parish church, 250 Newcastle Blvd, Miramichi on Friday June 27th, at 2pm.

Mary Joann Ramsay, Moncton, NB passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, at the age of 73.

Born in Barryville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Demerise (Leblanc) Ramsay.

Joann had a strong tie to her family and her home in Miramichi. She was a great friend to many. She had a flare and style that everyone will remember. And her love of cats was immeasurable.

She is survived by sisters: Leta and Linda; her brothers: Cecil, Reggie, Emmet, Lindsay and Daryl; also by 16 nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brother: Ronald and her sisters: Norma and Joan.

Special thanks to the caring staff on the Garden Grove wing at Spencer’s home as they were incredibly supportive.

There will be a graveside service after the celebration of life service on Friday June 27th, followed by a luncheon.
