Jason Steven Meuse of Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on January 18, 2026, at the age of  41.

Born in Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, on December 20, 1984, he was the son of Steven Cunningham and Angela Meuse.  Jason was a Fisherman for all of his working life and enjoyed every minute of it.

Jason is survived by his father, Steven Cunningham; his mother, Angela Meuse; his children, Vada, Violet, and Harlan Meuse; the mother of his children, Shilo Tozer; his grandmother, Rose-May Doucet; and his step-grandfather, Alphonse Doucet; his two sisters, Chantal Jamias and Cindy Meuse; his special niece, Isabella; his special nephews, Shane and Ben; as well as special friend, Arielle Thibeault.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Leo and Yvette Meuse, and his grandfather, Paul Cunningham
