Irma (Gault) Power, age 95 passed away peacefully on March 29. She is pre-deceased by husband Frank and daughter-in-law Margie (Ken). She is also pre-deceased by her 12 siblings. 

Irma was a devoted and proud mother of six. Jim (Carol Ann), Ken (Margie), Stephen (Penny), Cheryl Bourque (Barry), Garth (Anne Baldwin) and Karen Harding (Laurie). She enjoyed the love of her 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, always preparing treats for their upcoming visits.   

Irma and Frank were a dynamic duo, participating in bowling clubs, card parties and senior’s clubs. In her younger years and well into her 80’s she was an active member of the Anglican church and the community. After her children were grown, she spent a number of years in retail, allowing her the opportunity to socialize. In her spare time she could often be seen baking pies, reading or with a crib board or a deck of cards in her hands. Without fail, weekends visits involved hours of board games or card playing and tons of laughter around the dining room table.  

Irma will be greatly missed and remembered fondly for her dedication to family. A private internment to be scheduled in future, where Irma will be reunited with Frank, her beloved partner of 73 years.
