The death of Irene (Babineau) Roach, wife of the late Arnel Roach, of Losier Hall, occurred on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the age of 98. Born in Rogersville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Placide and Philomene (Pitre) Babineau. Irene was a homemaker, a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, and a member of their CWL for over 60 years.

Irene is survived by sons: Roland (Suzanne) of Caraquet, NB, Maurice (late Donna) of Point aux Carr, NB; grandchildren: Carri (James), Jason; great grandchildren: Curtis, Dakota, Nolan, Elijah; sister: Elva Cox of Moncton, NB; brother: Yvon (Christine) of Ontario.

Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by sisters: Alvina Richard, Florence Doiron; brothers: Alphe, Albine.

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 2-5pm. Funeral service will follow at 5 o’clock with Fr. Anthony Das Papu officiating. Interment will take place at Saint-François-de-Sales Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
