It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Thomas Cameron announce his passing on May 21, 2024 at Percy’s Place at the age of 88.
Born in Bridgewater, NS, on January 25, 1936, he was the son of Dougald Cameron and Alice Clark.
Gerald is survived by his daughter, Tammy Miller (Jason) and their sons Bailey and Kody of Fredericton; his sister, Janet McKenna and brother, Father Charles Cameron both of Antigonish, NS; sisters-in-law: Emily Cameron of Amherst, NS, Annetta Cripps of Bedford, NS and Nancy Cripps of Miramichi; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, his loving wife Gladys Cameron, brothers: James and William, and his in-laws: Catherine Johnson, Edith Ramsay, Joseph Cripps, Gertrude Ryan, Henry Cripps, Kenneth Cripps, Grace Marsh, Claire Cameron, Donald Ryan, Ross Johnson, Walter Ramsay and William Marsh.
As a young man Gerald joined the R.C.A.F. serving for 23 years throughout Canada, Europe, Egypt and Cyprus and then retiring in 1981. He then joined the Department of Natural Resources until his retirement.
Gerald will be remembered for his gentle and loving outreach to all, his “God Bless” and “God Love You”, blessing so many. For years he loved his garden and he and Gladys enjoyed sharing its vegetables and the abundant raspberries with friends. He was grateful for ...
