Frank Osborne Jardine formerly of Napan, NB, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Shannex-Losier Hall, Miramichi, NB, on August 30th, 2024, at the age of 69.
Born in Chatham, NB, on February 4th, 1955, Frank Osborne Jardine was the son of the late Eldon and Helen (Dickson) Jardine.
A son, brother, uncle, and friend, Frank was best known for his dedication to hobby farming, where he found most joy in caring for his animals and tending to his land. Frank held a variety of jobs over the years. Later in life, Frank found the most love as a teamster, where he worked with his beloved horses “Dolly” and “Queen”. Each summer, Frank eagerly joined MacDonald Farm Provincial Heritage Place to share his love for animals with others. When his health declined, he continued to support his passion by generously loaning his horses to the farm, ensuring that the carriage rides continued to charm tourists. He was a man of simple pleasures. He was a familiar face at the Knights of Columbus where he enjoyed the country jam sessions, and he loved his Tim's coffee and card parties with friends. He will be remembered for his connection with the land and animals he adored. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
The family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Physicians, Caregivers and Staff of the Miramichi Regional Hospital and the Shannex-Losier Hall for their support and professional care of Frank over the years. Special mention to Carol Ann and Helen for your thoughtful gestures that brought joy to Frank each day.
Frank is survived by ten sisters: Edna ...
