It is with tremendous sadness that we share the passing of Euclide Miousse in ICU at the Miramichi Hospital on Saturday, June the 29th 2024 at the age of 66.

Euclide was the son of the late (2020) Stanley Miousse and Edna (nee Morais). He grew up in Eel River Bridge, Baie Ste-Anne with his three sisters and two brothers and where he also raised his family with his now late (2021 ) wife Julia ( née MCIntyre). He also retired in this community after working over 30 years at Theriault & Hachey Peat Moss. LTD. Starting at the bottom of the ladder Euclide retired as a quality inspecter.

Euclide was a member of the biggest graduating class of l’Ecole Secondaire de Baie Ste-Anne with 37 graduates in 1975. Sadly, he was preceded by three of his classmates.

At an early age, Euclide started volunteering. He was always available to help others. He was an active member of the Baie Ste-Anne Catholic Church, the ambulance brigade when it first started. He was an active member of the Knight of Columbus. He was involved in the Old Age Club. He was very dependent upon organizing the Christmas party for the physically and mentally challenged members of the community. When help and organization were needed, Euclide was there.

Euclide was a devoted and indispensable son. He was a commited husband, a cherished father, a fond pepere and pipi.

Euclide was able to cook and keep house like any woman could. He played guitar and liked to sing. He liked to play cards and cribbage. He liked the company of his family. He loved the children. He liked to watch hockey and follow his grand-son as a player.

When you met Euclide once, you did not forget him. He was a jolly fellow. He liked to joke and tease, but he was also a person that you could confide in to seek understanding and support. He was a very dependable and respected employee and colleague.

Euclide is also preceded by his brother Rejean ...
