David Lewis Jepson of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital on August 26, 2025, at the age of 72.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on April 19, 1953, he was the son of the late Lewis and Evelyn (Dixon) Jepson.

After graduating from James M. Hill, David pursued his career with the RCAF, Royal Canadian Air Force in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia and became a Radar Tech. David was transferred to many bases throughout Canada. He moved to Miramichi, New Brunswick after retirement 10 years ago. His total career was from 1972 – 2013.

David was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1219 and Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3 in Chatham/Miramichi.

David is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carmen (Noseworthy) Jepson; one son, Shawn Jepson of Newfoundland; one brother, Pat Jepson (Adeline) of Miramichi, New Brunswick; one sister, Tina Jepson of Miramichi, New Brunswick; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bev (Mike), Tracy (Tom), Fraser (Helen), Paul (Edna) and Grace; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM from Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
