Franklin Lloyd Jardine, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family, in Miramichi, NB. Born on December 21, 1956, in Newcastle, NB, Franklin's kind-hearted spirit touched all who knew him throughout his 67 years.

A graduate of Miramichi Valley High, Franklin enjoyed a full career with UPM Kymmene, retiring upon its closure in 2005. Having a love of children, his recent career was School Bus Driver with School District Anglophone North. Report Card-day was celebrated with Franklin stopping by Parks’ Dairy Bar to treat all to an ice cream.

Franklin is survived by his beloved spouse of 46 years, Connie Jardine, who was his partner in every aspect of life and his greatest mutual support. His love and legacy continue through his children, Melanie Jardine and Alisa McNair; his grandchildren, Ethan (Kayli) Price, Aiden Price, Nolan McNair, and Parker McNair; his brother, Donald (Lisa) Jardine; mother-in-law Hulda Sturgeon; sisters-in-law Nancy (James) Dunn, Kristalee (Ray) Jardine, Heather Page, and Susan (Lyle) Brooks; brother-in-law, Curtis (Joanne) Sturgeon; nieces and nephews Drew, Logan, Lauren, Julie, Allison, Archie, Tommy, David, Jonathan, Devin, Chandler, Joely and Brittnee; and Godson, Ryan MacDonald. Franklin was predeceased by his parents, Edith and Vincent Jardine and Father-in-law Allison (Tom) Sturgeon.
