The death of Christopher “Chris” Hansen, husband of Jennifer (Nowlan) Hansen, of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at his residence at the age of 58. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Ralph and Mary (Saunders) Hansen. Chris was a foreman and sand blaster. He enjoyed boating, guitar, listening to music and talking with friends.

Besides his wife, Chris is survived by daughters: Becky Levi of Red Bank, NB, Jenny McKnight (Jared King) of Napan, NB, Hannah Hansen of Napan, NB; son: Caleb Hansen of Chatham, NB; grandsons: Ryder Peterson and Gavyn Gallant; sister: Ellen Chisholm (Jim) of Toronto, ON; niece and nephew: Krista Hansen, Alex Chisholm.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by sister: Barbara (Hansen) Lalonde
