The death of Chianne Faye Dedam, of Esgenoôpetitj, NB, occurred on July 1, 2024, at her sister’s residence at the age of 44. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of Everett Dedam (Dianne Savoie) and the late Loretta (Mitchell) Dedam.

Besides her father, she is survived by sisters: Vanessa Dedam (Marcel Drisdelle) and Kayla Dedam both of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; brothers: Evan Dedam (Melissa Barnaby) and Noah Dedam (Ashlee Storee) both of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; maternal grandmother: Elizabeth Mitchell; godsons and nephews: Hayden and Dawson Barnaby; goddaughters: Talisha, Leah and Carley Mitchell; nieces and nephews: Amelia Dedam, Loretta Mitchell and Eli Bradley.

Besides her mother she is predeceased by paternal grandparents: Marion and Noel Dedam; maternal grandfather: Roger Mitchell; godfather: William Dedam.
