Ann Louise Hodgins of Napan, NB, passed away at Percy’s Place on August 13, 2024 at the age of 94.

Born in Chatham, NB, on April 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Bertha (Murdoch) Harrigan. Ann lived most of her early life in Lower Napan, NB, moving to Edmundston, NB in grade 7, then returning to Napan in 1957. She worked for Sears Canada for nearly 25 years as Assistant Manager/Manager. For most of her life, she regularly attended St. Andrew’s Catholic Church (Loggieville). Ann was an avid reader, woodcarver, and animal lover, especially horses and dogs, and she thoroughly enjoyed a good laugh.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Brenda Matthews (Bradley) of Fredericton; son, Tim Hodgins of Napan; granddaughter, Taylor Matthews; sister-in-law, Erma Hodgins of Ottawa, ON; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Ernest Hodgins, sister, Doris, and brothers, Al and Fred “Ted”.
