The family of  Albert Scott of Nordin, NB announce that he has passed away on July 25, 2024 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, NB, at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Thibodeau) Scott of Bathurst, NB. Born in Chatham, NB, on October 17 1952, Albert was the son of the late Walter and Rita Scott of Nordin, NB.

Albert was many things in his life, including a transport driver, a commercial fisherman, an upholsterer, a mailman, and an ice maker but the thing he loved being the most was a father and grandfather. 

Albert will be deeply missed by his 4 children, Adam (Chrissy), Auralee, Leanne (Tony) and Andy (Teri), and his 5 grandchildren, Noah, Luke, Magnus, Ben and Nate, as well as his step children, Marc Doucet and Lucie (Andrew) Bottomley and his step grandchildren, Rylie and Zachary Bottomley.

Albert is survived by siblings, Tom and, Shirley and predeceased by siblings, Eddie, Bruce, Joan and Mary as well as an infant son, Jody. 

In his spare time he loved to golf, go on long drives and tinker in the garage, he could fix just about anything. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. ,,,
