The death of Elizabeth Anne “Libby” (Walsh) Deveaux of Miramichi, NB, occurred at her late residence at the age of 77. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Buggie) Walsh.

Libby is survived by her sons: Paul Deveaux (Jennifer) of Burton, NB; Allan Deveaux of Miramichi, NB; siblings: Bernetta “Bernie” Walsh of Miramichi, NB; Mary Johnston (Neil) of Ontario, Rita Donovan (late John); Theresa Donaher (Joe) all of Miramichi, NB; Veronica Walsh (Bernard) of Winnipeg, MN; Agnes Walsh (John) of Ontario; Colleen Walsh of Winnipeg, MN; Peter Walsh (Phyllis) of Ontario; Bernard (Susan) of British Columbia; sister-in-law: Dolores Walsh of Moncton, NB; grandchildren: Colten and Carson.

Besides her parents, Libby is predeceased by brother: Michael Walsh and infant twin granddaughters: Cassandra Lynn and Darcy Elizabeth.

At Libby’s request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
