Dolena “Kelly” Moorehouse of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 64.

She was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, on April 30, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Theodore (Ted) and Frances (Letcher) Emsley.  Kelly worked as a Personal Support Worker at Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and Bridgeview Hall – Shannex for many years.

She is survived by three daughters: Kelly Mullen and Patricia MacDonald of Miramichi, New Brunswick and Mindy Mullen of Moncton, New Brunswick; one son, Joey Mullen of Truro, Nova Scotia; seven grandchildren; four sisters: Tracy Boisclair, Deborah (Tammy) Boisclair, Leona Duclose and Elaine Emsley; as well as nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, brothers: Lance (David) and Teddy Emsley.

As per “Kelly’s” wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Interment will be held in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
