The death of William “PeeWee” Joseph LeGresley Jr. husband of Barbara “Barb” (Ryan) LeGresley of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Percy’s Place at the age of 76. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late William and Charline (Bradford) LeGresley. PeeWee worked at various jobs as a laborer. He loved fishing, playing cards and watching John Wayne westerns.

Besides his wife, PeeWee is survived by daughter: Wanda Girouard (Jean Paul “JP”) of Miramichi, NB; grandchildren: Owen and Novalee; siblings: Charlie LeGresley (Debbie), Margaret Ann LeGresley, Kay LeGresley all of Miramichi, NB; Allan LeGresley of Ontario; Sharon LeGresley, Donna Green (Paul) and Rodney LeGresley (Allison) all of Miramichi, NB as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, PeeWee is predeceased by siblings: Lorraine Hachey (Leo) and infant sister: Tanya.

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 4-8 PM. A public graveside service will be held from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery on November 13, 2024 at 2 PM with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating.  ...
