The death of Warren Gerard Hackett, husband of Margaret “Peggy” (Pleadwell) Hackett of Barnaby, NB, occurred on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the age of 80. Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late Carroll and Ruby (Murphy) Hackett. Warren retired from Empire Cranes in Ontario where he was a Hoisting Engineer (Crane Operator). Over the years Warren also worked on many pipelines both in Ontario and New Brunswick. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 10, he enjoyed camping and travelling to Florida for the winters after his retirement. In more recent years, you could always find Warren wheeling and dealing, he loved buying and selling things.

Besides his wife: Warren is survived by: sons: Kelvin (Angie) of Blackville, NB; Shawn (Laurie) of Moncton, NB; Tyson (Paula) of Terra Cotta, ON; sister-in-law: Sandra Hackett of Moncton, NB; brother-in-law: Allan Clark of McKinleyville, NB; grandchildren: Ryan (Carolyn), Darcy, Brittany (Haylee), Teah, Gabrielle, Sierra (Lucas); great grandchildren: Norah and Lillian; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Beside his parents, Warren is predeceased by siblings: Josephine, Phil (Marie), Lester and Diane....
