The death of Vincent Shirley Pleadwell, husband of the late Joanne (Whalen) Pleadwell, of Renous, NB, occurred on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the age of 83. Born in Quarryville, NB, he was the son of the late James and Josephine (Hackett) Pleadwell.

Vincent lived a life marked by hard work, humor, and devotion to the people he loved. He spent many years working with heavy equipment in the forestry industry, where he took pride in a hard day’s work and valued the many good people he worked alongside over the years. He also loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and found great enjoyment in the woods, on the water, and in the simple pleasures of country life. He enjoyed a good card game, especially with his sisters and close friends, where there was always room for laughter, teasing, and a few well-told stories.

Above all, Vincent was deeply loved by his family. His children, Derek and Cheryl, loved him dearly and will carry with them many cherished memories of his strength, humor, and presence in their lives. He had a  ...
