Hayward reported that some of them found work immediately and a large number are living independently but some still live with host families. The financial support from the community has also been overwhelming.

A Ukrainian man who moved to Dieppe and who is a professional videographer made a video about the Miramichi region which has created more interest among his Ukrainian contacts.

The organizers thanked everyone for their support.
