Thomas Simpson Wright of Miramichi, NB, passed away at home on August 17, 2024 at the age of 94.

Born in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland, on January 7, 1930, he was the son of the late John and Florence Edith (Simpson) Wright.  Thomas worked as a Military Radar Operator in the Canadian Airforce for many years.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Adele (Barry) Wright; four sons: Barry (Shirley) of Napan, John of Miramichi, David of Gagetown, NB and Roy (Cynthia) of Miramichi; two grandchildren: Jessica and Dylan of Winnipeg, MB and one great-grandchild, Alania of Winnipeg, MB.  He was predeceased by his parents and one sister, Eileen.

As per Thomas’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
