It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Thérèse Roy (née Doucette), wife of the late Yvon Roy, at the Foyer Assomption, Rogersville, NB, on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the age of 74.

Formerly of Murray Settlement, NB, Thérèse Roy was the daughter of the late Théodore Doucette and the late Lucie Leblanc.

Thérèse really liked to help. She made beautiful cakes, whether for weddings, baptisms, or birthdays. She loved knitting and sewing. Thérèse also loved ATVing and was secretary of the Swamp Runners ATV Club for several years. She was also a helper for the elderly.

Thérèse leaves to mourn her daughter, Ginette (Bernard), and her son, Réjean; her grandchildren: Janice (Jeffrey), Marc, and Céline; her great-granddaughter, Kaylee, whom she adored; her brothers and sisters: Dolore (Léona), Eddie (Denise), and Marie (Raynald), all of Moncton, NB; Catherine (Jean-Louis) and Dianne (Arsnène), both of Acadieville, NB; Claudia (Louis) and Normand (Joan), both of Rogersville, NB; and Yvette (Armand) of Murray Settlement, NB; brother-in-law, Daniel of Bathurst, NB; sisters-in-law: Joanne (Kim) of Riverview, NB, and Yvette (André) of Laval, PQ; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She also leaves behind her friends: Géraldine, Lydia, Anne-Marie, Patsy, and Stella.
