Stephen Kazamer-Ward

The death of Stephen Norton Perley Kazamer-Ward husband of Gizella Kazamer-Ward, occurred on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Percy’s Place at the age of 64. Born in East York, ON, he was the son of the late Norton Ward and Verna (Gilks) Grant. Stephen was a retired Heat Treatment Technician and was employed with Technical Heat Treatment from Jemseg, NB. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 10 and Local 325 Steamfitter, Pipefitters and Service Technicians. Stephen was an avid sports fan of football, baseball, and hockey. He loved his music especially the Rollin’ Stones. He loved to play crib and competed in several tournaments throughout his life.

Beside his wife, Stephen is survived by his children: Anya Kazamer (Greg L’Huillier) of Miramichi, NB; Jozsef Connolly of Miramichi, NB; sister: Heather Barrett (Paul) Fredericton, NB; brothers: Andy Ward-MacKnight (Kathleen) of Toronto, ON; Brent Ward (Lisa) of Rusagonis, NB; grandchildren: Alyana, Taliya, Lilly, Madelyn; in-laws: Ica Kazamer (late Gary Gillespie) of Calgary, AB; Csaba Kazamer (Tanya) of Miramichi, NB; Tibor Kazamer (Julie) of Whitecourt, AB; special nephew: Janos Kazamer; great nephew: Emmanuel Kazamer as well as several other nieces and nephews.
