Shirley M. Buckley

It is with deep sadness that the family of Shirley Margaret Buckley of Miramichi, NB, announce her sudden passing at Percy’s Place, Miramichi, NB, on January 25, 2025, at the age of 76.

Shirley was born in Chatham, NB, on June 24, 1948.  She was the daughter of the late Albert and Adeona (Robichaud) Buckley.  She was a lifelong resident of Chatham, Miramichi.  Shirley worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia for 25 years.  She attended St. Michael’s Basilica.

Shirley is survived by one sister, Marie of Miramichi, NB, and one brother, Marven (Dianne) of Riverview, NB, as well as one niece and two nephews, two great-nieces, and four great-nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents.

As per Shirley’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral mass.  A graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery later in the spring.

The family would like to thank Dr. Losier, the staff at Miramichi Regional Hospital, and Percy’s Place for their kind service given to Shirley.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Shirley to Percy’s Place would be appreciated by the family.
