Sarah Gene O'Donnell

The death of Sarah Gene (Mountain) O’Donnell wife of Nicholas “Nick” O’Donnell of Carroll’s Crossing Road, Carroll’s Crossing occurred at the Fredericton Hospice on Wednesday, May 25, 2021 at the age of 44. Born in Newcastle, NB, she is the daughter of Roger and Carrie (Warren) Mountain of Barnettville, NB. Sarah worked for many years as a cook at Burke’s Diner. Over the years she enjoyed many hobbies and interests including, clogging, crafting, sailing the river, ATVing and many other outdoor activites. She was a former girl guide and she was a very proud hockey mom.

Besides her parents and husband, Sarah is survived by: son: Kalin at home; brother: Christopher (Kelly) of Saint John, NB; father and mother-in-law: Michael & Roxanne O’Donnell of Nelson Hallow, NB; sister-in-law: Lisa Brennan (Tommy) of Blackville, NB; brother-in-law: Adam O’Donnell (Chelsie) of Blissfield, NB; nieces and nephews: Kaiden, Lochlin, Harlow, Cassidy, Denver, Gracelyn, Jaxon and Carly.

Sarah is predeceased by: infant daughter: Lexi O’Donnell; maternal grandparents: Claude & Maude Warren; paternal grandparents: Percy & Vearyl Mountain.

The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 3-7 PM. A private funeral service will be held from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville with Father Gerry Laskey and Father Neil Osiowy officiating on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Burial will follow in the St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Carroll’s Crossing, NB.

Please Note: Mandatory Masks and Social Distancing Protocols will be followed for the visitation.
