Roger Joseph Vincent Goguen of Miramichi, NB passed away at his residence on October 6, 2024 at the age of 95.

Born in Richibucto, NB, on May 17, 1929, he was the son of the late Slyvian and Leona (Vautour) Goguen.  Roger was a painter at CFB Chatham for many years.  He was a member of St. Michael’s Basilica.

Roger is survived by five daughters: Theresa Wylde (Dave) of Miramichi, Margaret Thibodeau (Marcel) of Eel Ground, Kathy Sterner (Brian) of Fort McMurray, AB, Donna Bourque (Reg) of Miramichi, Diana Nowlan (James) of Napan, NB; one son, Keith Goguen (Tina) of Lakeville; 14 grandchildren and several great and great, great grandchildren; one sister, Annette Hewey of Hamilton, ON and one brother, Yvon (Ivon) Goguen of Moncton, NB; three step-daughters: Viola Fleiger (Pat) of Miramichi, Linda Greco of B.C. and Christine Murray (Kenneth) of Moncton; five step-sons: Walter Cormier (Colleen) of Miramichi, Yvon Cormier of Miramichi, Roger Cormier of AB, Tommy Cormier (Cheryl) of Miramichi and Peter Cormier (Penny) of AB; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by her parents, first wife, May, second wife, Ann, daughter, Doris, sisters: Emalda, Alfreda, Rita, Doris and Mary, brothers: Tim, Leo, and Bernard.
