It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul William Hogan, on July 29th, 2024, at the age of 58 after a long and very courageous battle with cancer.

Paul will be greatly missed by those he has departed; beloved soulmate of Susan; father and mentor to daughters: Sarah and Karen (Rob); loving son to: Carol and Stepfather Geoff; beloved brother to sisters: Marie (Darren), Teresa; and brothers: Rob (Stacey): GranPaul to grandsons; Grayson, Lucas, Marcus and Charlie; nephew to aunts and uncles: Catherine, Patsy (Frank), Mary (Paedraig), Uncle Gerald (Carmel); beloved Uncle to: Kyle, Kaitlin, Hope, Leland, Rose and Abbey.

Paul was predeceased by his father: Paul Sr; grandfather: Carl; grandmothers: Rose and Bernetta; his best buddies: Arnold, Ricky, Junior, Kevin who waited with a cold one on the other side; beloved dog: Harley.

Paul was born in Toronto, but his heart lived here in Miramichi. He was always happiest with a beer in hand, our home filled with friends playing cards and pool or in a canoe out on the river. He was a kind, loving, gentle soul that would do anything for anyone who needed it. There was nothing he couldn't cook, nothing he couldn’t fix, would always have out of the box ideas, and loved to joke around. He was notorious for how much of a torment he could be.

Following Paul’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
