It is with heavy hearts that the family of Patricia Vitaline Moyer-Tays announces her passing at her home on Thursday, October 10, 2024.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Reid Tays.
Born on September 1, 1940, in Eel River Bridge, Baie-Sainte-Anne, NB, she was the last surviving child of Elmer and Emelda Martin (Chaisson) and was one of six siblings.
Patricia will be deeply missed by her children, Kimberly Moyer-Lyttle (David), James Moyer, Pamela LeBlanc (Phillip), Shawn Moyer, and Kelly Levesque. She cherished her five grandchildren: Kyle LeBlanc (Montana), Michelle Barros (George), Orry Lyttle (Christina), Alexis Levesque (Josh), and Alisha Florczynski (Peter). Additionally, she was a proud great-grandmother to Caleb Alport-Lyttle, Lenni Lyttle, Kyan LeBlanc, Anthony, and Myla Barros. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Bonnie Moyer.
For over twenty years, Patricia dedicated herself to nursing care at Loch Lomond Villa, where she developed strong bonds with the residents and provided them with compassionate care.
She will be remembered for her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, her generous spirit, and her love for family, friends, and the many charities she supported. Patricia had a passion for gardening and found joy in nurturing her flowers. She treasured her time with loved ones and the companionship of her pets, especially her faithful cat, Frisky, who remained by her side throughout her illness.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).
In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, there will be no visitation, but a funeral service will be held to celebrate her life on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 2:00pm in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.
