On Wednesday July 30, 2025 the City of Mirmaichi  officially opened the new basketball courts at the Harkins / Memorial Field Rec Hub and named the courts the Art Gremley Courts after long time coach, educator, volunteer Art Gremley!

 

This is the most recent piece in a multi-phase plan to build up this area into a full recreation hub with multiple activities (next up pickleball)!

The basketball courts are already  popular and very well used! Thanks to the River Hoops organization who donated $10,000, and RDC for their contributions to making the courts happen!
